The Role…

This role is open to the ideal candidate in either our Cork, Dublin, Mid-West or London Offices.
For this role, we are looking to recruit a Digital Process Lead to lead our best-in-class digital project delivery process. You will join a team of ambitious, innovative, and progressive engineers. 
Salary: £/€55,000-£/€65,000 per year
The role will involve leading the EDC’s digital processes and the BIM team to quality-driven success. The candidate will focus on the development of digital processes and innovation within the organisation.

We need you to have…

Minimum Level 7 Degree level in BIM or relevant engineering qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on BIM projects or similar role
Strong understanding of BIM concept from design through to construction and handover
Thorough Knowledge of the ISO 19650 suite of BIM Standards
Knowledge of key BIM software packages such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, MagiCAD, Dynamo etc.
Experience in residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial projects
A strong communicator: ability to drive effective change through key stakeholder management
Energised; ability to motivate teams in a rapidly changing technological environment
Collaborator: Willing to learn from others and willing to share learnings
Superior in-depth knowledge of Revit, good knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage
Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
Strong interpersonal; written and verbal communications skills
Interoffice travel, conference and seminar attendance as required

Your Responsibilities Will Be…

Drive digitization and BIM technology within the company
Manage BIM Hardware and Software systems ensuring EDC are at the cutting edge of the industry
Ensuring our system compliance with ISO 19650
Awareness of BIM Standards/Regulations & Implications for 
EDC
Development of BIM strategy, standards manual & golden rules document
Implement & monitor BIM standards & procedures to meet project requirements
Evaluate team members for their technical skill, performance, and productivity
Monitoring of BIM costs per project and adjustment of BIM pricing levels to inform project BIDs
Ensure standardisation of BIM process across all offices
Perform internal audits for compliance to standards and performance
Monitor Industry trends and build business cases for adopting new software
Driving efficiencies and monitoring through processes and automation
Development of BIM Engineer’s skills gap analysis and recommendations for training and development
Oversight of the development of remote BIM Engineers and alignment with local standards
Business development, representing EDC at Industry events
Ensure that the good name and reputation of EDC is promoted and maintained within the industry

 

Liaise and collaborate with other EDC offices for all matters as appropriate
