EDC Joins The Irish Green Building Council.

At EDC, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of sustainability in the built environment. We believe it is our ethical responsibility as engineers to deliver sustainable outcomes for both current stakeholders and future generations.

Through our innovative designs, we can deliver sustainable high-performance buildings that are cost-effective and tailored to our client’s needs.

The Irish Green Building Council is a non-profit organisation working to transform the Irish construction and property industry to be a global leader in quality and sustainability.

Members include universities, professional institutes, NGOs, local authorities, contractors, architects, engineers, energy companies, leading national and multinational companies.

The Council aims to:

  • Provide a source of leadership for sustainability and quality in the built environment
  • Promote and assist in the provision of credible metrics for measuring progress towards the end goal of sustainability
  • Provide a source of resources to companies transitioning their activities towards more sustainable practices
  • Be central to the alignment of the policies of organisations seeking to achieve sustainability in the built environment

With our membership with Irish Green Building Council, we look forward to continuing to work with like-minded companies who are united in a common goal to deliver sustainable outcomes now and for the future.
