The Role...

Salary: £/28,000-£35,000 per year
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1-2 years Building Services Consultancy Design experience and will be a competent in the design and specification of mechanical building services in a variety of industry and project types, sizes and complexity.
For this role, we are looking for a hands-on and focused engineering consultant who can uphold EDC’s approach to quality-driven success.

We need you to have...

Minimum Degree qualification in Mechancical Design Engineering
Proficient user of the following:
  • Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)
  • Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD/Design Review)
Mechanical Building Services Design and BIM experience a strong advantage
Competent in the design and specification of electrical building services in a variety of industry and project types, sizes, and complexity.
Experience and involvement in detailed designs through the full design cycle.
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 1-2 years of Mechanical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
Commercial sector knowledge/experience a strong advantage.
Knowledge of MEP, including HVAC and Public Health services design and communal plant heating systems advantageous.
Knowledge and experience in the following Mechanical design areas: Water Services, Natural Gas, Heating /LTHW, HVAC, Fuel, above-ground drainage and BMS.
Understanding of specific building services design tools, such as IES.
Understanding of specific building services design tools, such as IES.
Project management, problem-solving, presentation, communication, and IT skills are essential.
