The Role...

As the Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for the technical administrative support required for the engineering projects. The role would suit someone who has had previous experience as a senior administrator or technical administrator and ideally have had experience working in the construction/engineering sector.
This role is open to the ideal candidate in our Dublin Office.
This role can be offered on a full-time, or part-time basis.

You will need to have previous experience in Administration/Technical Support in a Professional Services Consultancy and will be a competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Quality Systems for design delivery teams; familiarity with ISO standards 9001:2005 will be advantageous.


We need you to have...

Ideally, you will have at least 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Administrator or Technical Administration role.
Preferably you should have experience in Document Control, Project Administration, Bid Submissions and Quality systems for design delivery teams preferably working in the Construction/Engineering Industry.
Self-motivated, continually seeking to improve the overall running of the office.
Flexible and adaptable, is happy to work on a wide variety of tasks, focusing their attention on priority items.
Excellent communication skills, and strong IT/Microsoft Office skills.
An ability to consistently meet multiple and often parallel deadlines as well as demonstrate initiative
Familiarity with ISO standards 9001:2015 would be advantageous.
Strong interpersonal; written and verbal communications skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Your Responsibilities Will Be...

Collate, edit, upload, and distribute items to the necessary personnel and ensure they are accessible throughout the lifecycle of the project.
General office management duties including support of various communication channels
Work with delivery managers/project managers to plan deliverables submissions, and upload drawings and documents onto electronic document management systems
Collating all necessary documents for projects
Distributing documentation relating to project progress to clients and stakeholders
On a project, the technical admin support is primarily responsible for the following: Supporting the Management and Engineers with all technical administration required for projects.
Bid Management and preparation
Maintenance of controlled document registers and associated documentation
Issuing out tender packages and public tenders
Assist Management with ISO Audits
Liaise and collaborate with other EDC offices for all matters as appropriate
