The Role...

We are seeking to hire a competent Administrator in a part-time (25h pw), permanent capacity in our Cork Office that will also provide accounts support to the Financial Manager. 
These duties include diary management, ordering Business Supplies and Accounts/Credit Control support.
The selected person will be responsible for the day to day running of the EDC Cork office.

We need you to have...

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Administrator role, and Engineering/Consultancy background would be an advantage.
A proactive approach to work with a strong work ethic.
An enthusiastic person who enjoys responsibility and thrives in a busy, dynamic environment.
Highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
Experience working to tight deadlines, as well as demonstrating initiative.
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptable, is happy to work on a wide variety of tasks, focusing their attention on priority items.
Self-motivated, continually seeking to improve the overall running of the office.
Experience of managing templates and electronic filing.
Familiarity with ISO standards of 9001:2015 advantageous
Capable of working by oneself and as part of a team as required.

Your tasks will be...

Manage the Reception function, managing general administration duties to all office functions
Provide support with Accounts and Lead Credit Control.
Assist with supporting new employees with set up and equipment.
Booking accommodation and flights as required.
Organise meetings/events as required.
Ensuring the smooth Day to Day running of the Cork Office including managing incoming calls for IRL & UK Offices, managing mail and deliveries for Cork and Mid-West Offices and ordering stationery and consumables.
Ensure the office is maintained to a high standard, incorporating Lean principles.
Work with Engineers and managers for technical support with projects and managing tenders.
Ensuring GDPR compliance across all services.
