INTRODUCTION
The Prism Building is a new, iconic, Grade A commercial office development which will be located in the heart of Cork City. Standing at 15 floors tall, this elegant prism-shaped structure will consist of 6,000 square meters of light-filled, fourth-generation office space, designed to the highest of international standards. The building is planned to offer flexibility to cater to the bespoke demands of foreign direct investment and local blue chip indigenous customers looking for high-quality office space that is above and beyond what is commonly available in the city.
EDC Mechanical and Electrical Overview
EDC has been appointed as the M&E consultants for this project, working . Due to the project’s state-of-the-art amenities as a 4th Generation office space, and large glass area within the design intelligent use of daylight calculations to ensure an ambient temperature range has been a large focus of this engineering design.
