Project Overview:
This development in North County Dublin includes a 92-bed state-of-the-art residential care home and six custom built independent living units for the elderly. Built by Axis Construction, this is 1 of 12 sites to develop care homes across Ireland by the business. The aim is to provide a turnkey package of nursing homes to group operators and funders. EDC is collaborating with Axis on this development and one similar in Gorey, Co. Wexford.
EDC Scope of Works:
We're are proud to have delivered the full M&E design for this project and are now conducting site inspections in line with Building Regulations through the BCAR process. The nursing home features a high-efficiency gas boiler, complemented by an onsite CHP unit for supplementary heating and power, ensuring optimal energy performance.
