Project Overview:
Hackney Gardens is an important regeneration scheme at the heart of Hackney. Included in this scheme are 58 homes of different tenures, including church worker housing and social affordable apartments, a community hall and renewed scout facilities and a nursery.
The 58 apartments are set amidst the greenery of Hackney Gardens and located across three buildings linked by carefully landscaped pathways and gardens.
EDC Scope of Works:
EDC provided the full design of MEP systems, Fire Engineering services, SAP calculations and BREEAM to achieve the minimum Part L & CO2 requirements.
Awards:
Urban Design London Award at the Housing Design Awards Winner 2021.
