CareChoice Nursing Home in Swords Dublin, is a brand new purpose built facility, with 158 bedrooms in the heart of Swords. It is a four-storey building with a dementia-friendly unit with a rooftop garden, café, 4 Dining Rooms, 4 Day Rooms, 2 Quiet Rooms, and 3 activity rooms.
In addition is has 3 treatment rooms, a sensory room, state of the art kitchen, hair salon, oratory, lifts, a meeting room, laundry and another rooftop terrace.
Areas of specialism for the new facility include respite, convalescence, palliative, dementia and long-term care. EDC provided M&E services design and NZEB compliance assessment for the scheme, carrying from inception through to completion.
