Project Overview:
The scheme converts the existing Hall, designed in 1776 by Samuel Wyatt, into a 120-room hotel with restaurants, bars, and function rooms. Integrated with the old stables which will become bedrooms and a modern three-storey extension which will include additional guest bedrooms and a spa.
Elsewhere on the estate, there were 102 high-specification residential houses designed as part of the development covering an area of approx. 23,000sqm
This £35m project involves enhancing and restoring the Grade I listed Doddington Hall, the Grade II* listed stables and the Grade II listed park and garden setting to create a five-star country house hotel and spa in near Nantwich, Cheshire.
In addition, a modern three-storey extension which will include additional guest bedrooms and a spa, this fresh approach to the estate’s configuration will help to bring it back to life. EDC was appointed to complete the full MEP, Environmental & Sustainability Evaluation & Report as well as the Utilities & External Lighting.
