Chatham House Redevelopment Given The Green Light

Lioncor has recently received planning permission to redevelop Chatham House. 

EDC is delighted to be appointed as MEP designers for this Dublin city centre project which will include solar photovoltaic (‘PV’) modules and a. plant area enclosure at roof level.

Chatham House currently contains both office and retail and is laid out over 3 storeys. It extends from Chatham Street down Balfe Street and Chatham Lane towards the well known Westbury Hotel.

Lioncor has recently received planning permission to redevelop Chatham House. The new building will be six storeys over a basement and will extend to approximately 3,005 sq.m.

The development will consist of the demolition of the existing three-storey over basement building on the site and the construction of a 3,060 sq. m. (GFA) six-storey over basement mixed-use building.

An ESB substation at ground floor; a conference space, meeting room, toilets and ancillary space at first floor; a total of 1,685 sq. m. (GFA) of office accommodation on the second, third, fourth and fifth floors with tiered roof terraces facing onto Chatham Street on the fourth and fifth floors.
