EDC has been appointed as the Lead MEP designers for the public realm services including Lighting, Security, and Utilities, as well as MEP Consultants on the office quarter and residential quarters. These elements account for approximately 75% of the overall development. This major rejuvenation scheme includes 3 office blocks with a gross area of 36,981m2 and designed to be phased for ease of delivery. There will be 237 apartments built across 4 blocks for the private rental market.
To ensure that the building does not overheat, particularly in areas where there are higher levels of glazing and internal gains, adequate means of limiting summertime temperatures will be implemented.
