EDC are proud to have achieved ISO: 19650 accreditation.
EDC is proud to have achieved ISO 19650 accreditation. This accreditation replaces all previous certifications under PAS1192, making us the first Lloyds Registered certified company in the UK and Ireland to achieve this. This BIM Level 2 Accreditation represents an independent public statement of compliance with the ISO 19650 series of standards.
Due to the advanced level of BIM adoption in the UK and Ireland, it was a logical step for EDC to look to be an early adaptor Foutof this international standard of ISO 19650 to ensure that our clients know that we employ a consistent framework for delivery, management and execution, not only in the UK and Ireland but globally.
The benefit of the ISO 19650 series is that there is now a universal approach that can be adopted. This is especially beneficial when working with delivery teams from multiple companies or countries coming together on projects. It also has significant benefits with regards to accommodating the differing requirements from customers, partners and suppliers. The ISO 19650 provides a unified approach that regardless of region, country or office, the standards can be adopted in a consistent unified manner.
Ultimately we aim to continually develop and improve the quality of service we provide to our clients. Adopting the ISO 19650 series of standards is another example of how EDC are proven leaders in the promotion of BIM and all the benefits this collaborative process brings to the construction industry.
