We are proud to have such a depth of expertise and professionalism within our EDC team and over the past 18 months, we have grown our team to over 70 staff across our 4 offices. Each new Associate Director has been chosen due to their experience, professionalism and contribution to the company and we welcome them to the management team.

Meet EDC’s new Associate Directors:
Tom is a Senior Electrical Engineer and Associate Director with in-depth experience working in both contracting and consulting in the commercial and pharmaceutical sectors as well as practical experience of working as a qualified electrician. Tom is currently studying for his masters in project management at UCC and will graduate in 2022.
Erdi qualified as an Electrical Engineer with 9 years of experience. He has in-depth experience in large scale projects in both Turkey and Ireland working recently on projects such as Horgan’s Quay and Highfield House.
Erdi is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and holds certificates in Turkey for High Voltage Design and Solar Panel Design. Erdi has particular expertise in the residential, mixed-use and leisure sectors.
Gareth graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2012 with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical Services and Energy Management and is also a qualified electrician with onsite experience in the installation of industrial electrical works. Gareth has a wide range of technical expertise covering all market sectors including residential, industrial, student residential and commercial offices.
Notable projects include North City Operations Depot, Bombardier Energy from waste facility, Highfield House Student accommodation, Guinness Enterprise Centre and Carechoice Nursing Home Swords.
Stephen has over 19 years of construction industry experience under his belt having worked as a trade electrician in the Commercial, Industrial, Medical & Pharma sectors and holds a BEng in Electrical Services Design from The Dublin Institute of Technology. Over the past few years, he has worked on the electrical design of several high profile projects including a mission-critical facility in Lagos and the world’s largest co-living development in Canary Wharf.
Stephen has extensive knowledge of the construction process from initial project concept design through to final handover. He is a competent, practical engineer and an excellent communicator who brings value to all projects.
Josh is a Mechanical Design Engineer with in depth experience in design, specification and project management for new build and refurbishment projects of mechanical building services installations in commercial, public and residential sectors. Josh has particular expertise in sustainable technologies and drainage services design.
Josh has an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of mechanical building services systems including low-temperature heat networks, piping hydraulics, and building management systems. Notable projects include Dexion House, Equipment Works and Hilton by Hampton Victoria Road.
Alan is a Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the construction industry. Alan has worked in a leading role on major landmark projects comprising of high specification commercial, office, residential & retail projects and has a solid understanding of Energy Strategies, Part L Requirements, Fire Engineering and BREEAM. Alan is also a qualified electrician and brings a considerable amount of practical knowledge and site experience to the design process. Notable projects include Hilton by Hampton Victoria Road and Beamhouse Yard
