Project Overview

Creamfields is one of Cork’s most significant residential developments, transforming the former CMP Dairy site at the junction of Kinsale Road and Tramore Road into a vibrant new urban quarter. The development will deliver 606 new homes across 12 buildings, creating a carefully planned neighbourhood with landscaped green spaces, residential courtyards, local amenities and a new town square at its heart. A striking 15-storey residential tower will provide a landmark gateway to the development.

As the scheme takes shape, the scale of the transformation is becoming increasingly clear. What was once a familiar Cork landmark is being reimagined as a connected, sustainable community designed around the way people live, move and interact.

We're providing full MEP design and construction support for the development, working across the mechanical, electrical and public health requirements of the scheme. Our role is complemented by our specialist Energy & Sustainability services, including Operational Health Assessments (OHA) and Building Energy Ratings (BER), helping to ensure that energy performance is considered from design through to delivery.

From early design coordination through construction, our multidisciplinary approach brings together engineering, energy performance and practical project delivery to support the creation of efficient, comfortable and future-ready homes.

As a Cork-founded engineering consultancy, contributing to a development that will play such an important role in the future of our city makes Creamfields particularly meaningful for the EDC team.
