New Acres

London

Project Overview:

New Acres is one of London’s largest build-to-rent development schemes, providing purpose-built rental homes for all ages, demographics and social groups. The New Acres development (on the former Homebase site) covers 6 acres and will create 480 high-quality Build-to-Rent Homes. In addition, it will create a range of mixed-use space, spread across five new buildings, with retail, office, and community uses.

The redevelopment will significantly improve the local area and existing public realm by adding new play areas and communal spaces, as well as new landscaping and a civic square outside Wandsworth Town station’s proposed new station entrance.

EDC Scope of Works:

After completing the coordinated site services, EDC is providing detailed design through RIBA Stages 4 – 6 for this flagship Build to Rent scheme for our client Vistry Partnerships.

The development focuses on lifestyle and resident satisfaction, higher design, service, and asset management standards, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
